Explore this magical Japanese shibori and indigo dyeing technique with talented artist, Kim Poler from Beehive Art. We’ll explore the possibilities of traditional and modern methods of dyeing in the indigo vat with a focus on creating patterns using folds and clamps.

Bring a few white items from home to dye – T-shirt, blouse, pants, dinner napkins, tablecloth, pillow case. This is a great opportunity to grab some old pieces from your closet and create something new! 100% cotton or linen work best. A pair of cotton towels are provided to every registrant to dye.
Costs include instruction, materials and two cotton tea towels.
